Anti Ragging Policy

Arunodaya Independent PU College maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy towards ragging. Any form of ragging within or outside the campus premises is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary as well as legal action.

The institution strictly follows Anti-Ragging Regulations issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to ensure a safe, respectful, and secure academic environment.

Acts Considered as Ragging

  • Any act violating student dignity or personal freedom.
  • Physical or mental harassment causing humiliation.
  • Forced participation through intimidation or confinement.
  • Threatening behaviour or psychological pressure.
  • Activities affecting physical or emotional well-being.
Reporting Mechanism

Students facing or witnessing ragging may immediately report the incident to the Anti-Ragging Committee through the college administration for prompt action and protection.
